Requirements for both concepts

Production order

• we must be able to configure the to:
  • use and existing technology which cannot be modified
  • use an existing technology which can be modified
  • create an technology for an order from scratch
• integration in all systems must take it into account
• we have to add master order entity which will allow us to create a summary balance for multiple orders

Production recording

• if an operation has a product family as an input/output then the user should be able record a concrete production from that family
• if the production order is configured properly then also should be able to report new operations, inputs/outputs, and other costs
• make operation counting type (piecework or hourly) configurable per operation

Technology / Product index

• we need to implement attributes for product families like in the full spec: PFU - Product families with attributes and unit conversions
• we need to make the product index and lookup more flexible:
  • same products will have numbers which identify them
  • some will be only identifiable by the combination of their product family and its attribute values
  • some will be entered on the fly, never to be indexed
• we should be able to massively edit input/output products attributes in technology do rapidly specialize it
• implement BPT - Better product terminology to stop mixing terms like: technologies components, materials, orders components, technologies inputs, etc.
